Located on the 3rd and top floor of a Victorian building of 11 apartments (no elevator), the apartment has been completely renovated and tastefully furnished in 2012. Here the “modern design” and the “very old” mix perfectly. High ceilings, hardwood floors and thanks to it's top floor location and it's very large window, the apartment is filled with beautiful natural light all day long. The kitchen and bathroom have both been completely renovated with a modern touch.
Stainless steel appliances, large storage space (Ikea PAX wardrobe) and a small desk area.
All the guests have access to the courtyard!
INCLUDED: high-speed Wi-Fi internet access, HD TV 43 "with cable, sheets and towels, electricity, air conditioning from June to October, everything you need for cooking and cleaning.
Free access to a washer and dryer located on the ground floor of the building.
PARKING: There is no private parking attached to the apartment but we can recommend to you places to park your car, there is a public parking that charges is between 15$ and 17$ per 24 hours one block away.
A supermarket is at only 5 minutes walking distance, a very convenient "dépanneur" is located in the building next door and all the other services and stores you may think off are at hand!
According to "Walkscore", the apartment is located in a “walker’s paradise” with it’s 97% score! It can sometimes get very quiet at night and guests travelling alone (especially female) may want to avoid roaming the streets after 11pm. Rare but possible: some homeless people do walk around this area as it's so centrally located close to downtown. Rather like New-York, it's not our proudest aspect of town, but know that Montreal is considered a very safe city.
NOTE that for any given stay of 31 days or less, our nightly prices will include the Québec Lodging Tax of 3.5%, the Provincial Tax (QST 9.975%) and the Federal Tax (GST 5%). These taxes apply to the total stay but not to the refundable damage deposit.

RULES: NO smoking, NO pets and NO parties. Music is tolerated until 10 pm.
Trudy G.The apt. was very conveniently located, close to all types of transportation, shops, great restaurants, etc. It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. However, when we got there at night, the third floor hall was dark as the overhead light was burnt out. Also, the stove did not work and the window air conditioner was completely clogged. We reported these issues to Home in Montreal. They were very responsive and someone changed the light bulb and and cleaned the AC filter the next day. They sent someone out several times during our stay to fix the stove to no avail, although the electrician claimed it worked the last time he left. It worked once at the very end of our stay. However, we able to use the stove all week. We have requested a rebate. Also the couch was very lumpy. In general the company was very responsive but in this case of the stove unable to come through. The laundry facility on the first floor of the building was great. We appreciate the management's effort to accommodate us and to make our stay a pleasant one.June 2018

Roberto S.El apartamento es tal y como se ve en las fotos. Tiene todo lo necesario para que te sientas como en tu propia casa durante tu estancia. La ubicación es inmejorable, sin duda lo mejor de este alojamiento.August 2019
Angie B.Lots of good restaurants within walking distance, nice appartment with everything a traveller needs. Would come back!August 2019
Doug R.The location is the point here, near enough to shops, dining, the Village and Metro stop that will get you anywhere in the city. The unit is a cozy spot and upgraded with an eye to efficiency and comfort. It is a great value for the money with everything in good working order, Downside is that it is a third floor walk up and the property on the outside is being renovated so it will be more attractive shortly.September 2019

Shawn F.First: The location. It cannot be beat. Benefits: It's just a block from the Berri-UQAM station, which is where the three main metro lines all meet. The station is also a stop on the bus that travels to and from the airport (the only public transit from the airport). Additionally, it's a block from the gay village, and only about a kilometer to most of Old Montreal. Nearby are also a variety of great restaurants and bars. Next: The building itself is quite old, and at the time of writing this review (12/1) there is construction occurring on the street in front of it. There's no noise, but the sidewalk is partially closed. This room is on the third floor, and it is a narrow staircase, which can be a pain, especially lugging suitcases, or after a long day. That said, though, the apartment itself is updated and modern. It's clean, and relatively spacious for a one-bedroom inner city apartment. I definitely enjoyed my stay here, and would stay again if I were to visit Montreal again.December 2019
