- GREAT location:
- 450 m from Berri-UQAM metro station
- 5 min walk to Old Montreal
- Spacious apartment of approx. 750 sq feet, on the ground floor.
- Ideal for 2-4 guests but can accommodate up to 5: Queen size bed + sofa bed + 1 mattress
The BEST location in town: This is the heart of Montreal! Located in the "Quartier Latin", a corner away of the city's most important metro station (Berri-UQAM) and right next to a BIXI (free bikes) staton, you will be so close to all the best Montreal has to offer: the famous FESTIVALS, cafés, restaurants, shopping, the old port and the Plateau Mont-Royal... it's all yours one step away!
- Berri-UQAM metro station: 450 m. then only 1 metro stop to Parc Jean Drapeau
- Old Port and Old Montreal: 350 m.
- Place des Arts (Festivals): 1.2 km or 2 metro stops.
- Rue St-Denis & Ste-Catherine: 170 m & 300 m.
- Le Plateau Mont-Royal: 900 m.
- Le Village Gay: 300 m.
- Palais des Congrès: 1 km (13 min walk).
This spacious 1 bedroom apartment of approximately 800 square feet (80 m2) is perfect for 2-4 guests but can accommodate 5 guests. Located on the ground floor of a beautiful Victorian building, the apartment has been completely renovated and tastefully furnished in 2012. Here the “modern design” and the “very old” mix perfectly. Super high ceilings, hardwood floors and two large windows provide lots of natural light. The building itself is old but maintained with care. No cold "condo" feel here!
BONUS: All the guests have access to the big courtyard, it’s very calm and has a table, chairs and a big tree… it will be a perfect and peaceful oasis after a good day of sightseeing!
The kitchen and bathroom have both been completely renovated with a modern touch. All stainless steel appliances are new and there is a dishwasher too! In the dining room there is a large table with 6 chairs. The apartment has been well thought out with plenty of storage space (big Ikea PAX wardrobe) and there is a small desk area.
The apartment can accommodate up to 5 adults but is ideal for 2 to 4 guests:
- one queen size bed in the spacious bedroom,
- one comfy sofa bed that sleeps 2 in the living room,
- 1 floor mattress to be put on the floor.
For more privacy, there is a big opaque curtain to "close" the bedroom when needed.
INCLUDED: high-speed Wi-Fi internet access, HD TV 43 "with cable, sheets and towels, electricity, air conditioning from June to October, dishwasher, everything you need for cooking and cleaning. Free access to a washer and dryer in the building.
A fantastic supermarket is at only 5 minutes walking distance, a "dépanneur" (convenience store) is our neighbour and all the other services and stores you may think off are at hand! According to Walkscore, the apartment is located in a “walker’s paradise” with it’s 97% score!
It can sometimes get very quiet at night and guests travelling alone (especially female) may want to avoid roaming the streets after 11pm. Rare but possible: some homeless people do walk around this area as it's so centrally located close to downtown. Rather like New-York, it's not our proudest aspect of town, but know that Montreal is considered a very safe city!
NOTE that for any given stay of 31 days or less, our nightly prices will include the Québec Lodging Tax of 3.5%, the Provincial Tax (QST 9.975%) and the Federal Tax (GST 5%). These taxes apply to the total stay but not to the refundable damage deposit.
MINIMUM STAY: 2 nights minimum stay unless we have a 1 night "gap" between two other rentals and we reserve the right to ask for 3 nights for special events or weekends.
NOTE: if rented on long term (32 nights or more) electricity is not included.
RULES: NO smoking, NO pets and NO parties. Music is tolerated until 10 pm.
jeanne g.Great stay :)February 2018
Katarina S.Location was perfect for our trip to Montreal - close to Berri UQAM metro, St. Denis, St. Laurent and St. Catherines. Great areas for shopping, galleries, and restaurants. It was a quick trip on the metro to other locations and sites. The apartment itself was beautiful - very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, with all the amenities. The kitchen was especially well stocked with cooking utensils, as well as coffee/tea. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. We could sometimes hear our neighbours upstairs, and coming in and out of the building, however it was during daylight hours so nothing at all that concerned us. I would highly recommend this apartment for any trip to Montreal!December 2018
Wanderley J. (Brazil)We love so much our stay in Montreal and we are going to recommend for all our friends and relatives.... And inclusive we would like to return to Montreal as soon as possible..January 2019

France C.Bien situé , tranquille et bien aménagé !March 2019
Ali O.Responsive and caring staff. The apartment is in an extremely convenient neighborhood. 10mins walk to conference center, 10mins to shopping center, 5mins to very nice cafes, restaurants etc, 2mins to the bus stop, 5mins to metro... Close to the center, yet quite peaceful for a rest. Kitchen is fully equipped, so ideal for a family travel as well. I would definitely stay there the next time. Merci!May 2019
Johanna W. (Australia)One of the best accommodation I've stayed in that was reasonably priced, good location, and perfect for a longer trip as it had a full kitchen and was a very spacious. Highly recommend; the next time I stay in Montreal, I would stay here again!May 2019
Ryan V.We were a group of 5, and we were all able to fit quite nicely. The place comes with nice, large, open concept bedroom, and also has two mattresses neatly stashed away out of sight if not needed. Best quality of all - the location is phenomenal. Walking distance to Old Montreal, and the subway station (a single stop away to Parc Jean Drapeau!). Big thumbs up!July 2019
karine o. (France)Séjour 2 adultes et 2 ados. Idéalement placé près des rues commerciales du métro et de la gare de bus.Super calme le seul défaut la clim trop bruyante.August 2019
Eric J. (United States)Great place/base for a few days exploring Montreal--easy transportation options (Metro, bus, walking, Uber/Lyft), centrally located, quiet, very clean, nice full kitchen, great communication from hosts. We would definitely look for Le Rene-Levesque again!November 2019
